To continue providing youth with immersive overnight park experiences, we are proud to partner with local youth development organizations, helping them to create their own mini-camps at the Clem Miller Environmental Education Center for communities of at-risk and under-resourced youth from around the Bay Area.

Coming soon… We are also working to develop new summer programs and activities as an alternative to overnight camp. Check back here to find information about new and upcoming day-long experiences for youth and families as they become available.

  1. City of Oakland Summer Camps - a variety of day and overnight trips. Cost is varied based on the program.
  2. Carmen Flores Recreational Center - a variety of summer classes available for students to little or no cost.  Website will be updated with more information
  3. Oakland City Library - many of Oakland's library offer fun, educational, and exciting classes during the summer and throughout the year.
  4. Brothers on the Rise - is a dual direct service-systems change organization which responsibly empowers male youth to achieve individual success, develop healthy relationships and contribute to a more just and equitable society. We accomplish this through comprehensive gender-responsive, culturally appropriate, preventive, pipeline programs that directly serve boys and young men of color.
  5. Bay Area Girls Rock Camp - Our summer camp is a week-long program for young people ages 8-18. Campers attend instrument lessons, form a band, collaboratively write an original song, participate in daily music and empowerment-related workshops, and perform with their band at a live showcase at the end of the week.
